Cardiff Bay
Cardiff Bay is the regeneration area created by the Cardiff Barrage which impounded two rivers (Taff and Ely) to form a new freshwater lake around the former dockland area south of the city centre of Cardiff in south Wales.

Westonbirt Aboretum
Westonbirt, The National Arboretum is one of the most spectacular tree gardens in the world. An historical collection of over 3,000 different trees and shrub species many of which are rare or endangered in their native lands. These photos are from November 2007. I think I was about a week or two too late to get the full benefit of the autumn colours.

Cotswolds Way
The Cotswold Way is a long distance walking Trail that runs between the market town of Chipping Campden in the north and the city of Bath in the south.We (Geoff, my couchsurfer, and myself) walked the last 7 miles of it from Cold Ashton to Bath.

Salisbury & Stonehenge
Salisbury is a cathedral city in the English County of Wiltshire. It is located in the south-east of Wiltshire, at the edge of Salisbury Plain. It is famous for its magnificent 13th century cathedral with boasts Britain’s tallest spire.Stonehenge is one of the most recognised monuments in England. It is composed of earthworks surrounding a circular setting of large standing stones. Archaeologists believe that the iconic stone monument was erected around 2500 BC
