Ely is situated in the county of Cambridgeshire in England and was an island till the draining of the Fens in the seventeenth century. It's most know for its cathedral.
On the way to Ely cathedral, saw this duck with her little ones. Couldn't resist the photo ops.

This is an eel trap . . . or a reprduction of one. Apparently residents of Ely used to pay their taxes on eels. And those eels were traded for stone to build the cathedral.
